Lori's passion for travel started at a young age when she and her father would pour over travel brochures. She began fulfilling her dreams with her first trip to Europe in 1987 when she traveled alone to London, Edinburgh, Amsterdam, and Frankfurt. 23 years later, having attained a M.A. in European History and an A.A. in Travel Careers, she has visited 52 countries and has visited every continent except Antarctica. She has sailed  with a variety of cruise lines and is considered to be an expert packer. One of her most memorable experiences was when she and her husband delivered mail with the postman in the Australian outback, visiting 5 remote homesteads in twelve hours, all off road.
