This is located 300 miles north of Adelaide. It takes an average of 4-5 hours driving time on quality sealed roads that lead right to the Wilpena Pound Resort. You can also fly in by private charter plane. There is also a regular coach service from Adelaide or Port Augusta.

There are four seasons in the Flinders Range. This is 4-wheel drive country, with spectacular views, and wonderful guided tours explaining the geological of the region.

Best way to see Wilpena Pound is from the air and you can book a 20 or 30 minute flight from the resort. A very unusual place.

This is the path less traveled in the South Australian outback.
