This is a very windy city, reminds me of San Francisco, built on hills. Very cosmopolitan, great restaurants and clubs. Visit the Cuba District. A must see is Te Papa, New Zealands National Museum. You could spend a day there. They have Maori concerts each day in the lobby. Great gift shop.
