This is my favorite town. Great place for adventure lovers. Good skiing and hiking. You can take a 3, 5 or 7 day guided walk from here, the Milford, Routeburn and Hollyford walks are outstanding. Good places to eat on Steamer Wharf. Good golf courses also.
